Formulation/review of Development and Management Plans
Provided inputs for the preparation of the management plan for Puerto Princesa and Honda Bays. Prepared the socio-demographic profile of the 2 bays and submitted it to the partner agency, the SEARCA for integration to the result of the resource assessment to come up with a resource and social assessment report for the 2 bays.
 Program/Project Formulation and Packaging
Facilitated two operational planning workshops and packaged the two final outputs for distribution to various units. The plan served as guide in SEP operation. Moreover, a Work and Financial Plan for year 2002 to 2004 was packaged and submitted to the DBM. Another /P 20 M Environmental Education Campaign and Law Enforcement Program was likewise formulated for national government funding. Briefing materials for the budget hearings for both DBM and Congress were also prepared.
Prepared a Concept Paper on Ecology Village within the Provincial Agricultural Center and was submitted to the Office of the President for funding assistance.
Provided assistance to the PTFPP in the preparation of the Proposal for a two year extension of the programme. This includes the on-going preparation of a detailed proposal and the economic and financial evaluation of the programme. Justification for PTFPP additional budget for 2002 was prepared.
Formulated the Calamian Sustainable Development Program Proposal for Shell Exploration, BV funding. Series of meetings/consultations were attended for the tie-up and improvement regarding program management. A Memorandum of Agreement among PCSD, Shell-Philippines Explorations (SPEX) and the LGU to this effect is being drafted. Further, a community-Based Environmental Monitoring and Evaluation Program for Southern Palawan was formulated and packaged. This a separate /P 10 M worth Program proposal for the southern portion of the province.
Assisted in the conduct of bidding for the consultancy services for the ECAN Zoning under the Sustainable Environmental Management Project in Northern Palawan.
Assistance was provided to the members of the Project Bids and Awards Committee (PBAC) in the evaluation of the technical proposals. This includes the formulation/finalization of the evaluation criteria used in the evaluation of the proposals. Acted also as the secretariat to the committee. While awaiting for the concurrence by the Japan Bank for International Cooperation the submitted evaluation results, documents for financial negotiation is being prepared. Series of negotiation are also underway prior to contract signing.
Provide Planning Assistance to Other Agencies
Prepared the economic evaluation of different components of the Second Palawan Integrated Area Development Project.
Provided assistance to Provincial Planning and Development Office in the preparation and packaging of the feasibility study on Solid Waste Management Project for El Nido and Busuanga. Prepared the financial and economic aspect of the feasibility study.
Spearheaded the preparation of the Collective Negotiation Agreement and other documents related to the organization of the employee's association for registration to the Securities and Exchange Commission and Civil Service Commission.
Provide Assistance in the Protected Areas
Provided technical and planning assistance to Tubbataha Reefs National Marine Park and Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park.
