House Speaker Jose De Venecia, Jr. Meets Palawan Leaders

February 19, 2006. A breakfast hosted by PCSD in honor of House Speaker Jose De Venecia, Jr. ,Philippine Olympic Committee President Jose Cojuangco, Jr. and Japan Bank International Cooperation (JBIC) Chief Representative Mr. Osamu Murata and other JBIC Representatives held at the Kamarikutan Restaurant. In attendance were the two house representatives of Palawan, Congressman Antonio C. Alvarez and Congressman Abraham Kahlil B. Mitra, , Vice Governor David A. Ponce de Leon,ConCom Commissioner Alredo E. Abueg, Jr. and other Local Government leaders.

Later that day, a lunch was hosted by Palawan's First District Representative Hon. Cong. Abraham Kahlil B. Mitra at the Siete Picados in Asturias Hotel. The highlight of the activity was the presentation of Republic Act 7611, SEP (Stategic Environmental Plan) for Palawan and the PCSD by the PCSDS Executive Director Nelson P. Devanadera. A special message were given by the Honorable Speaker Jose De Venecia and Philippine Olympic Committee President Comissioner Jose Cojuangco,Jr. and the closing message was delivered by Vice Governor David A. Ponce de Leon.
