Scientific Name : Sticherus laevigata (Willd.) Presl.
"This is a creeping ground herb with scaly rhizomes. The leaves pinnate to 5 times forked, and with widely spreading branches. Leaf segments are closely arranged, linear, horizontal, 4 cm long and 2 mm wide. The texture is smooth.
This is found at the edge of forests in Palawan and other parts of the Philippines where it usually forms dense thickets. This fern is also found in Indo-China to New Guinea.
Sticherus laevigata is an ornamental species."
