     Upon the recommendation of the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff and pursuant to the powers vested by Republic Act No. 7611, the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development hereby declares the Aborlan Communal Forest zone situated in Barangay Sagpangan, Barake, Apoc-Apoc, Apurawan and Culandanum, Municipality of Aborlan, Palawan. As such, it will provide sustainable source of wood and other forest products for domestic and government infrastructure, and other needs in the Municipality on strictly noncommercial basis, rehabilitate denuded and degraded forest lands and increase the forest resource base through forest development activities.

    The Aborlan Communal Forest shall have the following technical description:

             (please refer to the attached map marked Figure 1,2,3 and 4 made integral part of this proclamation)

    The Municipality of Aborlan Communal Forest Zone shall be under the administrative jurisdiction of the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development and shall be administered in accordance with PCSD Administrative Order No. 01, series of 1999 and Republic Act No. 7611.
