RESOLUTION NAMING FORMER SPEAKER RAMON. V. MITRA AS MEMBER OF THE PALAWAN COUNCIL FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTING THE BUSINESS SECTOR

WHEREAS, Section 16 of Republic Act No.7611, otherwise knows as the "Strategic Environmental Plan (SEP) for Palawan Act" which was approved on June 19, 1992, named the Members of the Palawan Council For Sustainable Development (PCSD), hereinafter referred to as the Council, "including such other members from the public or private sectors as the majority of the Council may deem necessary;

WHEREAS, in its first meeting on August 15, 1992 at Puerto Princesa City, the Council had unanimously voted for the membership of former Speaker Ramon V. Mitra in recognition of his indispensable and unselfish efforts for the enactment of the abovementioned law;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as it is hereby resolved that by virtue of Section 16 of Republic Act No.7611 empowering the Council to name additional members to it, former Speaker Ramon V. Mitra is hereby named Member of the Council representing the business sector.

ADOPTED and APPROVED on the 15th day of August 1992 at Puerto Princesa City, Province of Palawan
