PCSD RESOLUTION NO. 06-271
"RESOLUTION FURTHER AMENDING THE PCSD RESOLUTION NO. 05-264 ENTITLED RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FEES PRESCRIBED
UNDER SECTION 4 OF THE "GUIDELINES ON VISITOR
MANAGEMENT FOR THE CALAUIT GAME PRESERVE AND
WILDLIFE SANCTUARY"

WHEREAS, RA. 7611, otherwise known as the Strategic Environmental Plan provides that it shall serve as the framework to guide the government agencies concerned in the formulation of plans, programs and projects affecting the environment and natural resources of Palawan
WHEREAS,Section of RA. 7611 provides that the governance, implementation and policy direction of the SEP shall be exercised by the Palawan Council For Sustainable Development (PCSD), under the Office of the President; ;
WHEREAS,Section 19 of RA. 7611 states that the Council is vested with power to "arrange, negotiable for, and accept donations, grants, gifts, and other funding from domestic and foreign sources to carry out the activities and purposes of the SEP;the Department of Justice Opinion No. 90 dated 20 June 1995 that the PCSD "possesses complete administrative and management authority over protected areas in Palawan'
WHEREAS, effective 01 January 1995, through a Memorandum of Agreement between the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the PCSD, the management and implementation of the Calauit Sanctuary shall be under the PCSD
WHEREAS, through PCSD Resolution No. 95-83, the
proposed "Guidelines on Visitor Management and Establishment of
Trust Fund for the Calauit Game Preserve and Wildlife Sanctuary"
was approved on March 17, 1995
WHEREAS, through PCSD Resolution No. 05-264, "Resolution Amending
the Fees Prescribed under Section 4 of the "Guidelines on Visitor
Management and Establishment of Trust Fund for the Calauit Game
Preserve and Wildlife Sanctuary" was approved on September 30, 2005
WHEREAS, in lieu of the steady and dramatic rise in the prices of various commodities indispensable for the daily operations of the Calauit Game Preserve and Wildlife Sanctuary, it is deemed necessary that the current Park rates be adjusted as a result of price escalation;
NOW THEREFORE,upon motion by Deputy Executive
Director Romeo B.Dorado,Acting PCSD Secretary, duly seconded, be
it RESOLVEDas it is herebyRESOLVED,
that the PCSD approves, that the PCSD Resolution No. 05-264 Entitled
Resolution Amending the Fees Prescribed under Section 4 of the "Guidelines
on Visitor Management and Establishment of Trust Fund for the Calauit
Game Preserve and Wildlife Sanctuary", referred to as the Calauit
Guidelines, be amended, hereinafter, read as follows;
Section 4. Fees.The following, hereinafter classified, are the entrance, other fees, and exemptions to be paid for by all visitors upon approval of application, and collected in the offices specified in section l(i);

P 2,000.00/group tour at a maximum of 20 pax plus 100.00/pax in excess of the maximum |
Guests with entry and exit points at Operation Center Pier |

RESOLVED FINALLY, that copy of this resolution be furnished to the concerned agencies and concerned tourism related establishments.
