LIST OF REQUIREMENTS FOR EVALUATION OF APPLICATIONS


Small-Scale Mining/Quarrying/Pebbles Picking

1. Initial Environmental Examination ( IEE ) (Refer to DENR DAO 96-37 Series of 1996, for contents of IEE )

Additional requirements to be attached to the IEE:

  • Location map/Project site plotted on the Topographic map with 1:50,000 scale
  • Site Development Plan/Map noting adjacent water bodies (scale:1:10,000)
  • Two-year Exploration Work Program
  • Proposed Commercial Production Work Program/Construction and Development Work Program, whichever is applicable

2. Status of Land/Land Claim

  • Certification/evaluation from CENRO/PENRO
  • Land Title/Tax Declaration/Stewardship Contract
  • For conflict areas: waiver from other claimants

3. Endorsement from Local Government Units with attached resolution including a copy of the documentation of the process

  • Sangguniang Pambarangay
  • Sangguniang Bayan
  • Indigenous tribal communities in case the area falls within a certified ancestral land/domain

4. Zoning Clearance from the City/Municipal Zoning Officer

5. Program of Work (for Gratuitious Permit )
