Waste Management Projects

1. Sanitary Landfill for Domestic Wastes Only

EIS:>=1,000 MT daily capacity
IEE: < 1,000 MT daily capacity

2. Landfill for Industrial and Other Wastes

EIS; Multi-user
IEE: Single-user

3. Domestic wastewater treatment facility

EIS: >= 5,000 cubic meters daily capacity
IEE: < 5,000 cubic meters daily capacity
CNC: <30 cu m daily capacity

4. Compost Fertilizer Making

5. Materials Recovery Facility

IEE: > =15 MT daily capacity or 5.475 MT annual capacity
CNC: < 15 MT daily capacity or 5,475 MT annual capacity/segregation only

Additional requirements to be attached to the EIS:

• Location map/Project site plotted on the Topo Map with 1:50,000 scale
• Site Development Plan/Map Noting adjacent water bodies (scale: 1:10,000)

2. Endorsement from the following LGU with resolution including a copy of the documentation of the consultation process undertaken.

• Sangguniang Pambarangay
• Sangguniang Bayan/Panlungsod
• Sangguniang Panlalawigan
• Free and Prior Informed Consent of IPs in case the area falls within a certified ancestral land/domain.

3. Zoning Clearance from the Municipality/City Zoning Office

4. Proof of land ownership, land claim or land occupancy

• Land Title/Tax Declaration/Stewardship Contract/Other Instruments
• Certification/evaluation from CENRO/PENRO
