Major Ports and Harbor

a. Airports

EIS: New projects or major improvements or Minor improvements ( < 50=50% extension/widening of runway)
IEE: Minor improvements ( < 50% extension/widening of runway) or private Airstrip.
CNC: Repair and rehabilitation of existing facilities (no expansion)

b. Causeways, ports and harbors (new)

EIS >=5.0 hectares reclamation or >=25.0 hectares (without reclamation)
IEE: < 15.0 hectares reclamation or < 25.0 has (w/o reclamation)

c. Causeways, Ports and Harbors, expansion or improvements

EIS: >= 5.0 hectares reclamation or >=10.0 hectares (w/o reclamation)
IEE: <5.0 hectares reclamation or >=1.0 hectares but <10.0 hectares (w/o Reclamation)

(for Ro-Ro Projects: proponent can use the prescribed IEE Checklist)
Additional requirements to be attached to the EIS/IEE

• Location map/project site plotted on the Topo map (1:50,000 scale)
• Site Development Plan/ Map noting adjacent water bodies (scale 1:10,000)

2. Proof of Status of Land and Land ownership/claim

• Certification/evaluation from CENRO?PENRO
• Land Title/Tax Declaration/Stewardship Contract/Other Instruments

3. Zoning clearance fro the Municipal/City Zoning Officer

4. Endorsement from the following LGUs with resolution including a copy of the documentation of the consultation process

• Sangguniang Pambarangay
• Sangguniang Bayan/Panlungsod
• Sangguniang Panlalawigan
• Free and Prior Informed consent from the Indigenous people if covered by a certified ancestral land claim/domain
